WRISE Celebrates Longstanding Board Members Elizabeth Kaiga and Raheleh Folkerts as They Term Out from the Board of Directors
WRISE proudly recognizes the remarkable contributions of Elizabeth Kaiga, Chief Commercial Officer at DNV, and Raheleh Folkerts, Head of Global Digital Marketing at Lightsource bp, as they retire from the WRISE Board of Directors.
Brooklyn, NY —Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) is proud to honor two extraordinary leaders, Elizabeth Kaiga, Chief Commercial Officer, Energy Systems, North America at DNV, and Raheleh Folkerts, Head of Global Digital Marketing at Lightsource bp, for their years of dedicated work as they retire from the WRISE Board of Directors.
Both were celebrated in a heartfelt tribute at this year’s WRISE Leadership Forum in Washington, DC, where fellow board members and the WRISE community honored their tremendous achievements with a special video presentation and awards.
Elizabeth Kaiga and Raheleh Folkerts have been pillars of WRISE for over eight years, consistently advocating for the empowerment of women and underrepresented groups in the renewable energy sector.
With over twenty years of experience in the energy industry, Elizabeth’s leadership skills have paved the way for new partnerships and programming. Her contributions to WRISE have helped guide the organization to new heights.
Raheleh’s extensive global marketing and communications expertise has been instrumental in driving WRISE’s communication efforts forward, helping the organization expand its reach and impact.
At the WRISE Leadership Forum, attendees were moved by a special video tribute featuring messages from fellow board members and WRISE members, highlighting Elizabeth and Raheleh’s profound impact on the organization. The tribute celebrated their leadership, mentorship, and passion for creating a more inclusive, equitable future in clean energy.
Though they are stepping down from their roles on the WRISE Board, Elizabeth and Raheleh will remain an integral part of the WRISE community.
