All WRISE webinars are open to the public, but recordings are only available for paid members in our online member center.
The goal of the WRISE Take Chare Initiative is to change our energy future, by increasing the number of women who care about the impact of their energy choices and take action to achieve a robust renewable energy economy. WRISE offers tools and trainings for experts to help them lift their own voices and in turn bring even more women into the conversations about renewable energy.
WRISE’s annual luncheon is a premier networking event and highly visible showcase of women’s progress and prospects in the renewable energy field. This not-to-be-missed event is open to attendees of any gender and offers an opportunity to network with others that support WRISE’s mission to promote the education, professional development, and advancement of women in renewable energy. Highlights include the recognition of our Rudd Mayer Fellows, Wind at Our Backs Scholars, a keynote or small panel and the announcement of WRISE’s annual honors – Rising Star, Champion, and Woman of the Year.
Cultivating leaders through the stories of seasoned professionals, focused conversations about leadership in the context of industry trends, and lots of networking. The WRISE Leadership Forum began in 2010 as a one-day event before the AWEA Fall Symposium. It has since grown into a day-and-a-half-long event filled with networking and educational opportunities across the renewable energy spectrum. In 2018 this event will spin off to become a stand-alone event.
